Privacy Policy

The important part first: the SadaCast app does not send us anything. Your videos, your channel credentials, your passwords and your settings stay on your own Mac. There is no account to create, no cloud to upload to, and no telemetry. We could not see your broadcast if we wanted to.

2. Who the app talks to
SadaCast connects directly from your Mac to the services you configure: YouTube, and optionally Facebook, Telegram or WhatsApp. Those connections are between your Mac and that provider. Each has its own privacy policy, and their handling of your data is governed by your agreement with them, not with us.
The app checks our website for update notices. That request tells us only what any web server sees: an IP address and the version being checked. We do not use it to identify installations.
3. Diagnostics — only when you send them
SadaCast can produce a diagnostics file to help us support you. It contains recent log lines and your settings with every password, key and token removed. It is saved to your Desktop and goes nowhere unless you attach it to an email. We delete diagnostics files once the issue is resolved.
4. What we collect on this website
- The pilot application and waiting-list forms — the name, email, institution and details you type. Held by Netlify, who host this site, and used only to reply to you and to plan which platforms to build next.
- Email you send us — held in our mailbox so we can answer and provide support.
- Server logs kept by our host, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics.
There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts and no cookies set by us.
5. Payment information
Purchases are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details directly — we never see your card number. We receive only what we need to issue and support your licence: your name, email, country and what you bought. See Paddle's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
6. How long we keep things
- Purchase and licence records: kept while your licence is valid, and afterwards as long as tax law requires.
- Support email: up to three years, so we can pick up an old thread.
- Form submissions that never become customers: deleted within two years.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@sadacast.com and we will act within 30 days. Because the app itself stores nothing with us, in practice this concerns your emails and any form you submitted.
8. Children
SadaCast is sold to institutions and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, for anything that affects existing customers, tell you by email.
